This chapter aims to help you prepare for and take examinations; it provides ideas about how to develop your own revision techniques and manage your time effectively. For most Arts and Humanities subjects you will be required to write essays in exams and so, rather than rote-learning information to regurgitate, you need to be able to think critically about the course material and answer the exam questions in a discursive and analytical way.
